When I traveled to New York in the fall, I made a playlist with my favorite songs about New York. Inspired by microformat.dk’s musical guide to Copenhagen, I’ve played around with google maps and youtube and made my own musical guide to New York. I know that there’s tons of songs about NY, but I’ve chosen these 17 songs because they have a special place in my heart.
Fuldstændig meningsløs side, som alligevel har fået mig til at klikke (fnisende) forbi igen og igen de seneste uger. Nogle håber at Obama løser finanskrisen, sikrer fred i verden eller får styr på den globale opvarmning, mens andre (fx. folkene bag siden) har valgt fokuserer på de nære ting – og de er tydeligvis allerede ekstremt skuffede over Obamas indsats, for, som de bl.a. proklamerer:
I thought Obama would bring my dog back.
I thought Obama would make my ex miss me.
I thought Obama would make life fair.
I thought Obama would let me crash at his place.
Og sidst men ikke mindst:
I thought Obama would get me laid!
Dog er der håb endnu for Obama – for andre stiller sig tilfreds med langt mindre, fx. to studerende fra Sverige, der citeres på NYtimes.com:
